Arthur Allez

My name is Arthur. I’m 18 years old, and I’m from Paris, France. I speak French, English, and a tiny little bit Chinese. I did my internship in le Café des Stagiaires from 10th December 2012 to 15th May 2013. I love music and extreme sports.

So, why not become a Rocket Scientist or an Accountant?

I wanted to travel and avoid a daily routine

Why did you choose CS as the place where you wanted to do your internship?

First of all, I wanted to travel far away from my hometown, to have new experiences, meet new people, new way of life: that’s why I had chosen Shanghai for my internship.

Where would you like to be in ten years time?

I don’t know yet, maybe Asia or Spain or South America. But I know that I want to build my own business.

What scares you most in life?

I’m stuck at the Chinese border and I have to work for Le Café des Stagiaires for life

Do you think you can bring something new to the CS concept?

We all came from different cities, with all different ways of thinking. I think that we all bring something new to the CS Concept by working in team behind the Bar.

What do you expect to learn during your internship?

Maturity and responsibility.

If the world was ending tomorrow what would be the last thing you would do and why?

Skydive. It’s just like flying, and I enjoy the freedom of it.

What’s your greatest memory from your time in CS and Shanghai?

The team building with all the CS’ Family.

What advice would you give to a new intern fresh off the boat in SH?

Be open minded because you can learn a lot from people around you.

What’s the one thing you should definitely not come to SH without?

Definitely a dictionary!
